Happy Easter 2013

Caswell set out his Easter Basket the night before and searched all over for it in the morning.
Where did that Easter Bunny hide his basket?

It's not under the couch...
It's not behind the rocking chair...
Here it is! - In Mama's new buffet
 Look at all these treasures!
 Someone is pretty happy!
Having fun playing with all his new goodies.

The Easter Bunny even comes to Nana and Bumpa's house too.

The Easter Bunny even dropped off something at Uncle Stevie's house for Caswell too.
Caswell had fun on the easter egg hunt we had indoors.
WOW!  Look at all those eggs.

We had a wonderful Easter.  We had a nice day at my mom's starting off with a delicious breakfast and then lunch later on n the day.
Caswell is so spoiled and again got so many Easter Baskets.  Auntie, Uncle and Grandma and Grandpa also put together baskets for the boys.

Easter Egg Hunt out at Cabela's

Caswell was more excited to check out Cabela's than hunt for eggs.  Daddy helped him with that and Caswell got some candy and a $5 gift card.

I am surprised Caswell was not afraid of this Easter Bunny -
sure not the Easter Bunny I remember.

 Checking out the big fishes
Trying to reel in his big fish

There were lots of tents to play in
 and relax in.
At the shooting range with Daddy!

A little trip to Como Zoo

We decided we needed to get out of the house for  a little while.  Bring on Spring please!!! Caswell wanted to go see some fishies.  We did not feel like braving the crowds at the MOA so decided to head over to the Como Zoo.    We had a great time there.  Even though a lot of animals are still 100% inside we made our way through the buildings and saw most of them.

These machines have been around since Jeff and I were kids.  Caswell got the gorilla today.

A fun weekend just outside the Dells

A great friend of mine (one I have known the longest out of all of them) rented a cabin for a few of our families and friends in a town called Arkdale, WI (about 30 mins from WI Dells).  There was 7 adults and 4 kids (ages 1-3).  The place was huge.  It had a pool inside which the kids loved even though it was quite cold.  The girls got to relax in the hot tub on Friday morning (before noon) in the snow and maybe split a few bottles of wine.  Saturday we went to the Kalahari waterpark and had the best day.  I wish I could have captured Caswell's ride down the watersides. He was grinning from ear to ear.  We were able to go on the slides with the tubes that had bottoms on them.  It was so much fun to be together - the little kids and big kids.  Most nights the big kids were pretty pooped.  I am pretty sure the little kids could have stayed up later then us on the 1st night there.  We had a wonderful time.  Here is a few pics from that weekend.

He's learning garages can be lots of fun to hang out in

We stopped at Uncle Stevie's house today and Caswell got to play in his garage.  He got to ride on the motorcycle lift.  I took a few videos and am trying to add one.  Watch for one to come soon.

Caswell is wondering what that red lever will do.
Caswell decides to see for himself what it does.
Caswell looks pretty proud at what he just made happen.
Caswell saw Uncle Stevies bike and says "My New Bike???"
Caswell tried so hard to reach the pedals - he really wanted to ride the bike.
He had a great time riding up and down on the lift.
