A Monster Halloween

We went out to Southdale with Auntie, Uncle and Cousin B.  They had a great big bounce house, make your own ghost suckers and a Transformer set give away.  The boys wanted to run and play and could have cared less about trick or trading at the stores.  We finally were able to trick and treat around the mall and got lots of good stuff.
We picked up a pizza from Papa Murphy's, stopped by Nana and Bumpa's house and then went home. Uncle Stevie came over and hung out with us.  Caswell and I went trick or treating at the neighbors houses and walked down the block to Great Uncle Glenn and Great Aunt Ruth's house.

We have been teaching Caswell what to say after you ring the door bell.  He would say "trick or treat" and then we would ask what you say when they gave him candy and he said "thank you." So sure enough he rang the door bell and would start singing "trick or treat, trick or treat."  He was doing what he was taught.  We just forgot to teach him he needed to say that once they opened the door.  Haha

Halloween Fun at Southtown

We met up with Auntie, Uncle and Cousin B this morning at Southtown for some Halloween Fun.  They were giving away free pumpkins and a few of the stores were participating in Trick or Treating.

 Here is our little monster having some fun.  He loved the little lion that was there.  Caswell kept roaring at him.

Caswell's 2nd Birthday!

Our little boy is 2.  

We had a great birthday today.  The party began at 1:30.  Nana brought Caswell with to pick up Great Grandma Bunny as we thought he may take a little nap.  We thought wrong.  He stayed up and chatted with the ladies.  

We had LOTS of family over to our house to celebrate.  Grandma and Grandpa, Auntie, Uncle and cousin B, Nana and Bumpa, Uncle Stevie and Great Grandma Bunny.  

Caswell was so spoiled.  He got TONS of fun gifts.  

We decided on an Elmo theme this year.  We had Elmo's all over the place and even head to toe.  

Jeff was madly trying to get the cupcakes decorated as our guests were arriving.  Don't adjust the color on your screen, we had enough red food coloring to make dark pink so Jeff just kept adding colors and we got a muted purple/kind of maroon color.  So for the cupcakes we had to go with Elmo's long lost cousin.  

The homemade vanilla cupcakes turned out pretty yummy.  

Caswell of course got a plate full of chocolate chip cookies too.  He has not learned to like cake/cupcakes yet like his Mama.  

He loved the police car.  

He dug right in and opened his presents.  He needed no help there.  

He was excited to get "Nemo".

If you remember back on the Happy Birthday post to Brandon, you will notice how much Caswell enjoyed playing with The Toy Story Pizza Truck.  He got his own from Auntie, Uncle and B today.   Here he is opening it up w/Auntie.

Addison Turns 1

Her mom (my best friend Adrienne) sure knows how to throw a party.  She had the cutest farm animal theme.  They had a petting zoo, horse rides and an egg hunt for the kids.  The party was two and a half hours away but there was no way we were going to miss it.  Caswell was pretty excited on the way there.  We were talking about all sorts of animals and the sounds they make.  He was awake pretty much the entire time.

He had a blast from the time we got there.  Caswell LOVED the animals.   There were goats, bunny rabbits, chickens, llamas, horses, donkeys, a cow, a pig, a turkey and a dog.

The turkey had a thing for Caswell.  He sure scared the heck out of Caswell.  He kept chasing after him.  That sure did not stop Caswell from spending most of his time with the animals.  

This little guy, Rebel, snuck right up on Caswell.   

Caswell loved riding the pony, Beauty.  He went on 4 rides.  

Adrienne had everything decorated so cute.  I loved the table for the kids with the hay bale seats.

Here is the birthday girl and her parents.  

We did not even get down the block before this little guy was sleeping.  He slept the entire ride home.

What a wonderful day!  

I am so glad we were able to come and celebrate Addison's 1st birthday.  

Tunnel

Daddy got out one of his tunnels from his toys and Caswell could not have been more exited.  He played with that for over an hour.  Unfortunately a few days later it snapped in half and that was the end of that tunnel.  

Brandon's 2nd Birthday

Happy 2nd Birthday to our Nephew Brandon!  

Brandon's Birthday is on Tuesday10/16.  We celebrated on Sunday 10/14.  

They had a really cute Diego cake that B picked out all by himself.  

B was resting on his daddy playing with his new garage truck.  

 Caswell of course wanted to help B open his presents.  

B got LOTS of fun toys.  

Caswell really like the Toy Story Pizza Truck that B got.

Sneak Peek

We had Caswell's 2 year pictures today.  We had a great time even though it was pretty cold.  We woke up and it was 36 degrees and did not get past 40 while we were out.  We even saw a few snow flakes at the beginning of our photo shoot.  We took pictures down along the River Road.  It was beautiful down there with all the fall colors.  Caswell ran around so much I don't he had time to get cold.  Our photographer is fabulous and takes LOTS of photos.  He was nice enough to send us some previews this evening.  I just have to share a few (in the raw) with you.  More to come later.
