MN State Fair 2013

Today we headed out to the fair.  It is a beautiful day not only because it is nice outside but it is my birthday.  My mom surprised me with tickets and ride tickets for Caswell.

We had a great time and were there much longer than I thought we would be.  I always have high hopes to eat LOTS or try out new things but we tend to stick to our favorites.  And when it is so warm outside we don't eat as much either.  Caswell did not try much but of course had to have some chocolate chip cookies.

Caswell went on quite a few rides.  I swear some have been around since Jeff and I were little.  We played on the tractors and at the lego road show.  We checked out the fish and a few other animals. Caswell danced a little while watching the skateboarders and bike riders.   

 Caswell was so excited to see there were dinosaurs to ride on.  

I love how determined he looks in this picture.  He was really out to bump into the girl next to him.  

A visit to the dentist

Caswell has been coming with me to my last few dental cleanings.  I want to get him use to seeing what happens.  He has never really let the dentist assistant look in his mouth until this last time. She was able to get a good look and count all his teeth.  He enjoyed riding on the chair, getting the light shined on him, and saying "ahhh".  He also thought it was funny to make mama go up and down in the chair.  Everyone is so nice here.  My whole family has been going here for years.  I grew up with this dentist, who announced his retirement to me at this appointment.  Very sad.

Caswell o saurus

Believe it or not our little guy is turning 3 soon.  You are growing up way too fast Caswell.  We have decided to throw a Dinosaur Birthday Party this year.  Mama has been looking at Pinterest for some good ideas and checking out the bakeries for a cake.  I found one online on the Betty Crocker website that is pretty cute.  I am just not too sure on my cake decorating skills.  We'll see.
