iPhone time
It just amazes me how Caswell already knows how to unlock the phone and move around from app to app. He really loves Talking Tom and Talking Santa. He just giggles when they repeat him. He likes the fisher price apps and a few of the books we got on there too. It keeps him busy and at least a few of the apps are educational. I can only imagine what fun electronics he will be growing up with. I want to say my first electronic game was the Spell & Speak series. Boy have they come a long way.

Christmas Eve 2012
We had a great Christmas Eve. We started our evening at Jeff's parents house. It was filled with presents. Jeff's parents really spoiled the boys and us this year. Trains, trains and more trains along with some cute cuddly pajama's too.
Auntie, Uncle and B always give the best presents to all of us. Way too many things to list but a few favorites are the Thomas the train trackmaster set and an interactive Hallmark book titled "All Aboard". Mama got a make your own sock monkey kit that she can not wait to make.
Great Aunt Kathie was there too and of course spoiled boys with a few toys and some fun Carter's fleece outfits. Caswell got a dragon flashlight, a big flat stuffed monkey and a black light car track from Aunt Kathie.
Cassie made yummy treats that we snacked on after opening our presents. I loved all the cookies she made from her grandma's recipes.
After celebrating at Jeff's parents house we headed over to celebrate with the Eckels. We do a white elephant exchange with all the adults. That is always fun to see what people brought. The last few years we have not had too much crazyfighting trading of the treasures.
Caswell of course got some more fun presents. He got a fun remote control fire truck and a Chuck and friends track set.

Holidazzle - more like Frozen-dazzle
It was about 20 degrees with I am sure at least a windchill of 15 or below. It was so cold outside, but I wanted to go so bad. We bundled up, but not nearly as much as we should. Caswell did not want to keep his mittens on (which of course I grabbed the lightest pair). We told him we would hold on to him as long as he kept his mittens, which he did. He enjoyed seeing all the floats and characters, especially Santa at the end. It was lots of fun. We can't wait to go next year.
There's Santa!

Celebrating Uncle Stevie's Birthday
Stevie had to work the night of his birthday, which in the end worked out so we could go out to Obb's for their friday night fish fry the next night. The table behind us was empty so Caswell sat there for a little while entertaining himself. Another family was sitting at a table close where Caswell was. He kept eyeing up another little guys action figures and wanted him to sit with him. He would grab his hand to come sit with him and if they little boy left he would go back over and grab his hand to come sit with him. He was 6 and played along with it.
