Christmas and Favorite Things

They really do go together.    Christmas is my favorite holiday and family and friends are my favorite things.  I hosted a Christmas luncheon today at my house with my closest friends.  I was going to do an ornament exchange but Tiffany had a great idea to have each of us bring our favorite thing(s).  I sent out an evite to the girls with the following...

For our favorite things:  Each person brings 4 (or 5 if you want one too) of their favorite thing (anything you like...your favorite lip gloss, gift certificate to your favorite coffee shop/place to eat/shop, favorite kitchen tool, favorite thing you keep in your purse, ornament, etc).  It can not cost more than $7.  You can make it any amount, but $7 sounds reasonable (are you all OK w/that?).  

Keep your favorite thing a secret until after we eat.  We will rotate and share what our favorite thing is and why it is our favorite.    

We had a fun time.  We had a yummy lunch (sandwiches from Jimmy John's, chips, pita chips/hummus, mint brownies, better than s*x chef mix and slush).
